Art In Action 2016

Just about recovered from this amazing event, thankyou to everyone who visited and said hi, so good to see so many friendly faces, I hope you all had a fabulous time.
 Exhibition up
Demonstrating my intaglio printing technique, using brushes and stencils
 preparing to print
A successful pull!!

Excitement mounts as I prepare for this prestigious arts event, deciding on work to take, mounting and framing.

'Wistmans Wood'
I will be demonstrating the way I ink this print, it is a vinyl which I ink intaglio, (like an etching) pushing inks into the cut lines and add relief colour through a stencil using a roller. A system which is very hit and miss so it will be interesting to see if I can get it to work.......

If you have ever thought, I really must go to this event, this year sadly is your last opportunity, as this is Art In Actions last year.

After enjoying the very highly regarded and professional arts event for years as a visitor, I am delighted to say I have been invited to demonstrate my printmaking techniques in the Printmakers marquee at 'Art In Action' 2016. The craft event runs from 14th till 17th July and is held in the delightful grounds of Waterperry Gardens and Garden Centre. The event encompasses drama, readings, storytelling, have a go crafts, for adults and children, music, painting, ceramics, textiles etc a long and exciting list as well as scrummy foods, what more can we ask.
